William and Flora Fraser (gravestone)

Description

The gravestone of William Fraser and his wife Flora Fraser (née MacKay) is located in the New Glasgow Riverside Cemetery (PN01 in the Ritchie Cemetery Listings).

 

It reads:

"In memory of 

WILLIAM FRASER

A native of Aird Parish of Kilkhill near Invernesss. 

Emigrated to Halifax in 1784 and 

died on the 5th Jan. 1849. 

Aged 95 Years. 

 

Also

His wife FLORA MACKAY

died the 4th September 1846.

Aged 74 years. "
