Description
Located at 100 Haliburton Road, Sherbrooke Cottage was the home of Dr. Thomas McCulloch, founder of Pictou Academy and the first President of Dalhousie University. Howe, in his ramble, described it as "a small, plain-looking stone house". Much modified since, the building is a branch Museum of the Nova Scotia Museum, housing local history displays and a historical library and archives.
