"Laura was the gold medalist in the graduating class of 1916. Afterwards she became a teacher and held the post of principal at the High Street School until her marriage in 1926. She married John S. Cameron on December 29th. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, as well as the church choir and C.G.I.T."
