This indenture made this twenty sixth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy five Between Dougald Thomson of Glengary Middle Rive County of Pictou and Province of Nova Scotia of the one part and Charles Grasen Big Brook in Said County and Province of the other part Witnesseth that the said Dougald Thomson for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and sixty dollars to him in hand paid the receipt hereof and hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold released aliened and confirmed and by these presents doth granted Bargain _ alien release and confirm unite the land to Charles Fraser his heirs and assigns ale that lot of land _ lying and being at Big Brook West Branch bounded and descended as follows that is to say beginning on the South side of the main pond from West Branch and the North-West angle lands of Charles Fraser and _ there north twenty degrees west their chains and fifty thus links to a stake there placed thence South twenty degrees West five chains and seventy links thence south seventy degrees east three chain and fifty two links to the west line of the said lands of the said Charles Fraser thence along the said line North twenty degrees east five chains and seventy links to the first place of beginning containing two acres more or less to have and to hold to the said Charles Fraser to his heirs and _ for his and their sale use forever in witness whereof the said Dugald Thomson and Jarret Thomson his wife hath _ and sell their hands and seals the day and year first _ .
