Wedding dress worn by Annie A MacKenzie when she married John A Matheson, of Halifax on 7 October 1880.

Annie A was the daughter of Alexander and Catherine MacKenzie of Mount Dalhousie, Pictou County.

John A was born in Scotsburn, the son of Donald and Elizabeth Matheson.

The ceremony was perform by Rev George Murray of New Glasgow and Rev. John McMillan of Truro.

The couple lived in Plainfield, Pictou County.
