In the Above pictures the Historical Pictou Academy is shown (top) as flames bent on destruction of the institution got under way (photo by Crescent Studio , New Glasgow), While below is shown the gutted building after firemen khad checked the spread of the fire. Two were injured in fighting the Flames.
