Monument to Mary Sutherland Morrison

Description

Memorial to honor Mary Sutherland, beloved wife of Roderick Morrison. Mary died in 1892 at the age of 34, after only being married a short time.  

Morrison commissioned James King of New Glasgow to carve the stone which stands in the Garden of Eden Cemetery, Moose River, Pictou County, Nova Scotia.  Mary is said to be depicted in her wedding dress.
