Estate of Duncan McDonald, late of New Glasgow, Shipwright, deceased, Testate

Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

In the name of God, Amen.

I Duncan McDonald of New Glasgow in the County of Pictou, and Province of Nova Scotia, Shipwright, being of sound and disposing mind and memory and knowing the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death, make and publish this my last Will and Testament.

1st. I give and bequeath unto my wife Mary McDonald all and Singular my real and personal estate, after payment of my just and legal debts and funeral expenses, to be held by her for her Sole use and benefit during her natural life, and at her death whatever portion of my said property shall still remain to become the property of my son George McDonald, If he then survives.

2nd. I hereby appoint George Fraser, Downie, to be the Executor of this my last Will and Testament.

In witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this Fifteenth day of August A.D. 1877.

Signed Sealed and declared as his last Will and Testament by the said Duncan McDonald in the presence of us, who in his presence and in the presence of each other and at his request have hereto subscribed our names as witnesses.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of Duncan McDonald, late of New Glasgow, in the County of Pictou, Shipwright, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.

Given under my hand at Pictou this 27th day of Decr. A.D. 1897.
