Estate of Duncan McDonald, late of Pleasant Valley, Farmer, deceased, Testate
Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
In the name of God, Amen. I Duncan McDonald of Pleasant Valley and County of Pictou, being of sound mind and memory Do make this my last Will and Testament as follows. That is to say after my just debts and funeral expenses are paid,
I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved wife, Catherine McDonald all the lands, and buildings and premises and real estate in Pleasant Valley, on which I now reside,
To have and to hold the same to her and her heirs, and assigns for ever, with all the improvements thereon, and every part and parcel thereof,
And further I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Catherine McDonald, all of my Personal property, Stock, horses, Cattle, Sheep, Farming implements, Household stuff, and all personal property of every description, I now possess or may possess at me decease, To Have and To Hold the same to her, her Heirs and assigns for ever.
And further I nominate and appoint my beloved wife Catherine McDonald and William Ross, Esquire of Pleasant Valley to be my executrix and Executor of this my last Will and Testament. Hereby annulling and revoking all former wills.
In witness I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this Fifteenth day of December in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight hundred and Eighty seven.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of Duncan McDonald, late of Pleasant Valley, in the County of Pictou, Farmer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
Given under my hand at Pictou this 7th day of July A.D. 1890.
