Will of Anne McKay, deceased

Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds

This is the last will and testament of me Anne Campbell McKay widow of William McKay late of Glenfalloch in the County of Pictou the fourth day of July AD 1873

First – I grant and bequeath unto my daughter Isabella English and her heirs all that part of my farm at said Glenfalloch that lies to the west side of the Railway.

Second – I grant and bequeath unto my son Alexander John McKay and his heirs all and Singular the remaining part of the said farm together with the stock and farming implements that may be upon the place at the time of my decease.

Third – I order that my said s on Alexander John McKay shall pay my daughter Julia the sum of eighty dollars and shall support and maintain her comfortably necessary to the degree during life and while she remains single and unmarried and

I do further order that my said son Alexander John shall give one cow and one calf to my daughter Isabella English above mentioned.

McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Anne Campbell McKay late of Glenfalloch in the County of Pictou Customs Officer deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 26th. day of December AD 1911.
