Will of James Watson, deceased

Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou

This is the last Will and Testament of James Watson of Stellarton in the County of Pictou, and Province of Nova Scotia, Miner.

1. I will and ordain that my just debts funeral and Testamentary expenses be paid by my executors hereinafter mentioned as soon as possible after my decease.
2. I will and bequeath to James Watson my son now residing in British Columbia the sum of one thousand Dollars.
3. I will and bequeath to Janet McDonald (Widow) my daughter the sum of nine hundred Dollars.
4. I will and bequeath to Jessie McDonald daughter of the above named Janet McDonald my granddaughter the sum of one hundred Dollars.
5. I will and bequeath to John Peter Watson my son now residing in British Columbia the sum of one thousand Dollars.
6. I will and bequeath to Robert William Watson my son now residing at Lethbridge the sum of one thousand Dollars.
7. I will and bequeath to Maggie Hunter my daughter and wife of Thomas Hunter of Boston Mass the sum of one thousand Dollars.
8. I will and bequeath to Catherine Jane Thompson my daughter and wife of Simon H Thompson of St Paul E R the sum of one thousand Dollars.
9. I will and bequeath to Grace Watson my wife all my real Estate and property including the house in which I reside and also the lot of which it stands and also the adjoining lot also all my household furniture and personal effects and also the residue and remaining part of all money notes or Securities of any kind of which I shall die Seized or possessed.
10. I appoint Angus McMillan of Churchville County of Pictou and Thomas Hugh Watson my son now a resident of Boston Mass as executors of this my last Will and Testament.

In Testimony whereof I have hereunto Subscribed and Set my hand and Seal at Stellarton in the County of Pictou this Thirteenth day of January Ad 1904.

McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of James Watson late of Stellarton in the County of Pictou Miner deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 19^th. day of May AD 1904.
