Will of Mr. McLeod, Pleasant Valley

I, William McLeod of Pleasant Valley, in the County of Pictou, being of disposing mind and memory do hereby make and declare this my Last Will and Testament.

And I hereby appoint John R. Ross and Dan Wm. Ross to be the executors of this my will.

I give, devise and bequeath the sum of one hundred dollars ($100) to D. W Gray to be paid out of my estate.

I give, devise and bequeath one half of the remainder of my real and personal property of every kind and description and wheresoever situate, to Christy Sutherland, (my housekeeper).

I give, devise and bequeath the remaining half of my real and personal property of every kind and description and wheresoever situate to my sister Mrs. Annie Douglas, Glengarry.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have this day, October the Second in the year 1913, set my hand in the presence of witnesses below.

McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of William McLeod late of Pleasant Valley in the County of Pictou Farmer deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the Ninth  day of December A.D., 1913.
