Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou

In the name of God, Amen

I John Muir of West New Glasgow in the County of Pictou Coal Miner and Prospector being of sound mind and memory do make declare and publish this my Last Will and Testament.

I give devise and bequeath all my real and personal property of every kind whatsoever unto my son Samuel Muir subject to the maintenance of my beloved wife Margaret Jane Muir in manner befitting and usual to persons in her walk and station in life during her natural life.

I appoint Alexander Donnie Fraser to be the sole executor of this my last Will and Testament.

In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal at New Glasgow, and devise this to be my last Will and Testament in presence of the witnesses named within this ninth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and one.

Signed sealed declared and published by the said John Muir as and for his last Will and Testament, in the presence of us who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses hereto.

McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of John Muir late of New Glasgow in the County of Pictou Coal Miner deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 21st. day of November AD 1904.
