Will of John R. Powell, deceased

Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou

This is the last Will and Testament of John Robert Powell of Chance Harbour, N.S.
 
I give and bequeath and devise all my real and personal estate whatever and wheresoever to my wife Jessie for her lifetime with the right to use any of the said personal property or dispose of the same for her support and maintenance.

After her death I devise and bequeath all the said real estate, being my farm at Chance harbour N.S., to my son John Robert, and all of the personal property which remain at m y wife's death shall also be his.

I hereby appoint my wife Jessie  executrix of this my Will.

The above real estate includes besides my own farm the lands I got from George W. Powell adjoining my own.

Dated at New Glasgow, N.S., Oct, 2nd, 1911.

McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of John Robert Powell  late of Chance Harbour in the County of Pictou Farmer deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 21st.   day of December AD 1911.
