Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou

The Last Will and Testament of Isabella Stewart of McLellans Mountain in the County of Pictou, Widow.

In the name of God, Amen,

First. I Isabella Stewart being of sound disposing mind and memory do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following - I commit my Soul to God hoping for the forgiveness of all my sins through the merits and meditation of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. My body I order to be decently buried by my Executor herein after named, and my Real Estate and Personal Property I dispose of a s follows:-

Secondly. I give and devise to my beloved daughter Catherine, wife of Kenneth McKenzie, Squire, all my Real Estate consisting of fifty acres of land situate on McLellans Mountain , with all the buildings and appurtenances to her and her heirs forever.

Thirdly. I give and bequeath to my said daughter wife of Kenneth McKenzie, Esquire, aforesaid, all and singular all my personal chattels, goods and effects of every kind and description whatever to her and her heirs forever.

Fourth. I nominate and appoint my son0in0law Kenneth McKenzie, Esquire, of McLellans Mountain executors of this my last Will and Testament. And I hereby revoke all other wills by me made and published, pronounced and declare this and no other as and for m y last Will and Testament.

In Testimony Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this First day of June in the year of our Lord A.D., 1887.
