Pictou District 3} To John W. Harris Deputy Sheriff or any other Constable for the District of Pictou
Whereas Donald McDonald Masters Son of Knoydart Gulf Shore made oath before me this day That last night about an hour after dark he the said Donald McDonald was beaten threatened made threats and abused at the door of said Donald's house without any provocation by one Angus McDonald John McLacklan's Son of the Glenn Arisag Back Settlement Knoydart Gulf Shore District of Pictou County of Halifax
There an therefore to require and command you to apprehend the said Angus McDonald forthwith and bring him before me or some other His Majestys Justices of the Peace in and for the District of Pictou to find security to consider to said charge and be further dealth with as the Law Directs Given at Knoydart Gulf Shore District of Pictou under my hand and seal this 22nd day of August AD 1834} Geo.
