MacLean), ___ McKenzie, Murdock Stewart, John Davis, Peter Arthur, and Adam Grant. The note on the left image include a survey reference of “beginning at the n. w. corner of J. Henry land thence N45° W 41 Rods and cont. S 45°W 47 rods to the lands of…” On the right side image, the ink note is “favourable consideration and grant them such a sum of money as you in your widow deem [meat?]. And you petitioners as in duly towns will ever…” and below the pencil note is “Alexander [Neather?], Ellon Matheson, $100.00 Four Mile Brook.”
