Estate of Jane Desmond, late of West River Road

Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

In the name of God, Amen.

I Jane Desmond of West River Road in the County of Pictou, do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made. First, I give and devise and bequeath to my beloved son Daniel Desmond all the Real and Personal Estate of every nature and kind and wherever situated of which I may be seized or possessed of at the time of my death, To Have and to Hold the said Real and personal Estate to him the said Daniel Desmond his heirs and assigns forever. Second, I hereby nominate and Constitute and appoint John D. McLeod of Pictou in said County, Barrister, the Executor of this my said last Will and Testament.

In witness whereof I have hereto my hand and Seal subscribed and set this twenty second day of January A.D. 1873.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of Jane Desmond late of West river Road in the County of Pictou, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
