Description

Three medals for athletic events of the Pictou Academy Athletic Association once belonged to Dr P M Macdonald.

1. Silver colored medal inscription on back: 1 MILE, P M MACDONALD, SEP 15 1889

2. Silver colored medal for 3 Mile Walk inscribed on front: P M Macdonald, Sep 3, 1887.  Back of this medal has etching of four maple leaves in each of the four points with a person walking along road

3. Gold colored medal for 100 Yards 1890, inscribed on back PAAA 

Also silver colored bar badge at top of blue grosgrain ribbon (hard to see in photo) inscribed with PAAA
