Nita DesBarres, self proclaimed "Mad Potter of Pictou", born 1900 and died 1976.
Nita was the daughter of Frederick and Stella DesBarres. She had two sisters, Marie and Dorette.

Inscribed on bottom: To Dad on his 90th Birthday, March 10th, 1957, With Love Nita
Nita was one of three daughter of Frederick DeBarres. Frederick DeBarres was a professor at Mount Allison University in Sackville, NewBrunswick. After his retirement he moved to Three Brooks with his family.
