Minto McBain, sister to Lillia Carson McBain MacKenzie born 6 September 1886. 

Daughter of John McBain (McBean) (1843 - 1911) and Isabella Ross McBain(1846 - 1889) of Hardwood Hill, Pictou County, NS.

Minto McBain was born 1 February 1883.  She also had a sister, Dolinah born 30 July 1880.
