MARRIED.

On the 15th inst., at the residence of the bride's father, by the Rev. Charles Elliott, Rector, Mr. William Norman Rudolph, to Catherine Mathews, youngest daughter of Mr. Robert Dawson.

On Tuesday, 15th inst., by the Rev. James Bayne, Mr. George Millar, of Pictou, to Margaret Taylor, widow of the late David Taylor, of Pictou, and daughter of David Wilson, Esq., Charlottetown, P. E. Island.

At New Glasgow, on Saturday, 19th inst., by Rev. Allan Pollok, Mr. Shalometh Sibley, of Gairloch, to Caroline, daughter of the late Wm. Turnbull, Railway Contractor, of New Glasgow.

DIED.

After a few days illness, on Saturday the 19th inst., Dr. Edward F. G. Kirkwood, a native of Cornwall, in England, in the 52nd year of his age, much and deservedly regretted. The deceased was educated in England, commenced to practice as a surgeon and physician in Pictou, in 1832, and has always maintained a very high professional reputation. Endowed as he was also an eminent degree, with the social virtues, the death of this useful and estimable man, has occasioned deep distress to an extensive circle of personal friends.

At New Glasgow, on the 7th inst., Eliza Grant, youngest daughter of Donald and Jessie B. Ross, aged 7 months and 22 days.

At the same place, in the 2nd inst., Margaret MacQueen Irvine, wife of Donald Forbes, of the New Glasgow Hotel; aged 47 years.

At the same place, on the 11th inst., Elizabeth, eldest daughter of John Miller; aged 6 years, 6 months.

At McLellan's Mountain, on Tuesday, 15th inst., in the 89th year of his age, James Fraser, who emigrated here in the year 1801, and was born in the parish of Kilmorack, Invernessshire, Scotland.

At Mount Dalhousie, on the 20th inst., Alexander, son of David McKay, aged 17 1-2 years.

At Barney's River, on the 10th inst., Christian, beloved wife of John Dewar, junr., aged 47 years, leaving a husband and ten children to mourn their loss. Her end was peace, and her hope was in Christ.

At Charlottetown, of typhus fever, on Friday, the 11th inst., Mary, the beloved wife of Mr. M. W. Skinner, druggist of t that city, aged 26 years. She was meek, humble, and inoffensive, and endeared herself to all who knew her. She leaves a sorrowing husband and three small children to mourn their sad bereavement.

At Sackville, N. B., on the 16th inst., Arthur Harold, youngest son of Rev. J. R. Narraway, superintendent of Sackville Circuit; aged 9 months.
