Description
Tug-of-War was added to the Pictou North Colchester Exhibition in 1937 in hopes of providing an entertaining and popular event. The response was positive, and they quickly had teams from across Pictou and Antigonish counties enter the competition. First prize was $75, while second place was awarded $50 and third $25.
The team from Ohio, Antigonish County were the winners, with Pictou finishing second, Car Works No. 1 in third, and Coalburn in 4th.
