Obituary for William Harvey Elliott from the Pictou Advocate, 16 January 1931. 

William Harvey Elliott, engineer, son of Robert Elliott and Mary Johnstone Wall, born 28 February 1857 at Salt Springs, Pictou County.

Harvey's father, Robert Elliott, was born at 6 Mile Brook in 1825 and his mother, Mary, was born in 1831 at Salmon River.  Robert died in 1898 and Mary in 1906.  They are buried in Eight Mile Brook Cemetery. 

Harvey Elliott married Catherine Cameron 18 September 1884 at Salt Springs.  They eventually moved to Spring Streetb[High Street], Pictou where they raised seven children. 

William Harvey Elliott died 9 January 1931.
