Description
Circa 1910 picture.
This is now part of the paved Jitney Trail along the Pictou waterfront, but 100 years ago it was the railroad line near Norway Point in Pictou.
The curve in the track is about opposite the new IOOF home.
Snow fences are visible all along the track to protect it from heavy snow.
It is low tide and the mast of the old, beached boat is directly in line with the 2 chimneys of the former Norway House, the former home of Edward Mortimer.
