1000 year old Beauly Elm Tree
This elm tree was planted by French Monks at the same time as they built the church. The tree is still very much alive aster 1000 years as opposed to the church which was mostly destroyed by fire during the reformation.
Beauly Priory, Beauly Scotland
This church was built by French Monks around 1100. They called this place "Beau Lieu" - beautiful place. It has now been changed to Beauly. The church has mostly bee destroyed by fire during the Reformation.
