Anne MacDougall MacKay writes to her brothers fiancee, Harriet Campbell in Killundin, Scotland.

Allan and Harriet did not return for two years. Julia is just married when they return in 1828 to the Rev. John MacRae of Halifax and Edinburg. Ann MacKay is Allan's sister who in 1820 married Squire MacKay.
