Description
This indenture made this nineteenth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty nine Between Donald Fraser and Nancy Fraser his wife of the one part and said David Fraser of Pictou in said county Merchant of the other part. Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of twenty five pounds of lawful money of Nova Scotia to the said Donald Fraser in hand well and truly paid at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged they the said Donald Fraser and Nancy Fraser. Have and each of them Hath granted bargained sold aliened remised released enfeoffed and confirmed and by these presents Do and each of them Doth grant bargain sell alien remise lease enfeoff and confirm unto the said David Fraser his heirs and assigns forever a certain lot of land situate at the west River aforesaid described as follows viz beginning at a stature and stone on the east side of the old road going form west river to green hill. Thence south east along said road sixteen roads of land to lands of William Matheson Esquire, thence North eastwardly along said lands thereby four roads owned by Donald McLellan, thence northwestwardly along said lands seventeen roads to a stake and stone thence southwestwardly forty roads to the peace’s of beginning containing three and three fourths acres and seventeen roads together with all and singular the appurtenances there to belonging and all the revision and revisions remainder and remainders rents issues and profits there of and also all the estate right title property, wherest claim and demand of them the said Donald Fraser and Nancy Fraser or either of them in right of Dower or otherwise of in to and upon the said lot of land and its appurtenances. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same to him the said David Fraser his heirs and assigns forever. In witness whereof the said parties have hereto their hands and seals subscribed and set the day and years just above written

On this twenty first day of July 1849 before me the subscribing one of her Majesty Justices of the peace for the county of Pictou personally came and appeared Nancy Fraser party to the foregoing Deed and wife of Donald Fraser also party thereto who being by me remained separate and apart form her said husband acknowledge that she of her own fee will and consent without any force or compression from her said husband signed and execute the same for the purpose therein mentioned.
