Description
This indenture made this Twenty third day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty four, Between James Fraser Junior Esquire of New Glasgow, County of Pictou and Province of Nova Scotia Merchant of the one part and Allan Fraser Big Brook West Branch East River County and Province aforesaid farmer of the other part.
Witnesseth that for an in Consideration of the Sum of Fifty pounds good and lawful money of Nova Scotia, in hand well and truly paid by the said Allan Fraser at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, Hath, granted, Bargained, sold, Released , Enfeoffed and confirmed and by these presents, Doth, grant, Bargain, sell, Release, Enfeoff and Confirm unto the said Allan Fraser his Heirs and Assigns all that certain lot piece parcel of land situate lying and being on the said Big Brooke bounded as follows that is to say Beginning on the East side line of the lands of a certain Thomas McDonald and at that certain point, stake and stones, now marked and placed as being the north west angle of the lands formerly owned and occupied by Donald McLeod deceased and Running from thence on the North side line of the said lands South seventy five degrees East one Hundred and Twelve Roads thence North fifteen degrees East Sixty three Roads to a stake and stones as now placed and maker thence by the Magnet as now surveyed and marked North sixty eight and one half degrees west one hundred and twelve Roads or until it comes to the aforesaid east side line of the said lands of the said Thomas McDonald thence on the said East side line south fifteen degrees west sixty three roads or until it comes to the first boundary or place of beginning Containing forty four acres and sixteen square roads be the same more or less together with al and singular the ways, waters, water courses, improvements, hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any ways appertaining and the Reversions and Reversions remainder and remainders Rents, issues and profits thereof and also all the estate right, title, property, claim, and demand of him the said James Fraser of in and upon the same with the appurtenances. To have and to hold the said described lot piece or parcel of land and premises with appurtenances unto the said Allan Fraser his heirs and assigns forever.
